Having run our recruitment agency in Milton Keynes for nearly 15 years, we’ve watched the city develop and grow. We’ve worked with many local companies, large and small, and we’ve helped thousands of residents change jobs and find new careers.
Large employers have moved to the city to take advantage of our great transport links, whilst entrepreneurs and start-ups have injected fresh ideas and innovation into the mix.
The days of roundabouts and concrete cow jokes have long gone and now this great city is attracting a new kind of respect as an emerging leader in business and employment.
Milton Keynes Tops The List For Growth In 2016
Milton Keynes now tops the list of all UK cities for generating the highest jobs growth over the past decade, and is now in the top 5 of all UK cities for achieving a high-wage, low welfare economy. According to Chancellor George Osborne, MK is setting an example for the rest of the country.
According to Startups, Milton Keynes is now home to growing number of tech businesses due to its proximity to London and more affordable premises than the capital, which is generating some of the most exciting IT jobs in the UK for local talent.
This month the Telegraph reported that Milton Keynes is to lead growth in 2016, and is expanding at a faster pace than London.
With news like that, we’re very proud to be a resident.
2016 is certainly looking bright for our city and reflects our own observations. There’s success in the air in our town and we’re pleased to be part of that growth. We’ve long championed the talent we have on our doorstep and will continue to encourage local employers to recruit from home in the future.
