Alfresco are currently hiring for a French Speaking Technical specialist to join their renowned support team. The company require strong technical people with good knowledge throughout the software stack.. with a focus on web applications and application servers.

The Role:

As a Technical Support Engineer you will provide a high level of expertise and an exceptional quality of service to the company's partners and external and internal customers. The company work on an Open Source platform, Java based and you will need to have knowledge of Web Application support, Application server support and throughout the stack to support, develop and roadmap functionalities for customers. The role will see you move into a position where you will interact directly with customers to resolve technical issues, help partners and customers find the information they need or the people they need to speak to and escalate where appropriate.

The Candidate:

You, the Technical Support Engineer will have a passion for customers and a strong interest and desire to handle a variety of technical issues from the very basic through the ambiguous to complex, have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive. Proven problem-solving ability in both business and technical environments.

Essential skills

Experience of installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting any issue on either Windows Server, Linux or UNIX operating systems, with a good basic understanding of the others.
Ability to trace and debug Web applications

Understanding of Java, Javascript, XML, Web services, FreeMarker, PHP, CIFS, FTP, WebDAV
