My client is a leading technology specialist who is seeking an experienced IT candidate to monitor and administer their IT infrastructure.

The Role:
The System Administrator will be working with an intelligent team to analyse, monitor and be responsible for my entire client's IT systems. They will be a utilizing their technical expertise to investigate and diagnose all network and server related issues. Troubleshooting and delivering configurations and installations is another key part of the role.

The Candidate:
The System Administrator would ideally be working in a very similar role responsible for the IT Systems in their present role.

Essentials:
-Commercial experience of Linux especially Debian and Ubuntu
-Commercial experience of Windows 7 / 2008
-Good network ( TCP / IP / Cisco ) knowledge
-Security knowledge such as firewalls, VPN and LAN security
-Virtualisation knowledge i.e. VMware
-Working knowledge of hardware
