Alfresco are a leading software house who are currently seeking a graduate Software tester to join their Software Development team. You, the Software tester will get to test next generation technology, including applications for the iPad and iPhone as well as enterprise and cloud products. You, the Software Tester will be driving innovations forward.

The Role:
As a QA engineer, you will be required primarily to test the Mobile Applications (iPad, iPhone). You will be performing the tests via using the applications, as well as the company's software to create test use cases and scenarios. Your aim will be to manage, create and use appropriate test data to identify defects; create bug reports; retest fixes; and provide a summary report of the test results. In this way, you the Software Tester will be having a real influence on the applications and an effect on the applications release decisions.

You, the Software Tester will be working in a team of technology-focused individuals including developers and experienced manual and automation engineers. As a team you will be delivering new product versions on time, to requirements and quality. As the Software Tester, you have the responsibility to make sure these releases are successful, through careful risk assessments.

The Candidate:
As a Software Tester you must have a 2.1 degree, preferably in Computer Science or Software engineering. You should also have experience in testing or programming (preferably Java), Testlink; Jira; or Selenium would be advantageous.
You should have an eye for detail and work accurately and effectively.
You should be able to identify potential threats which may affect the functionality of the applications.
You should have strong communication skills.
