Service Support Engineer

Windows Server 2003 / Active Directory / XP and Windows 7 knowledge

A confident Support Engineer is needed for my client's service team. My client is an innovative organization with a large presence in Europe.

The Role

The Service Support Engineer will work within the existing Service desk team to provide a high level of IT support to all employees and assists the Support Team assists with operational and administrative support. This is primarily a customer focused role therefore the knowledge of ITIL is essential.
Extensive Windows knowledge is essential, knowledge of AD and Call management software are also essential.

The Candidate

This is a role that will require the very best customer service and excellent telephone support experience. The Service Support Engineer will need to have already been in a similar position for at least 2 years.
You need to be enthusiastic about customer support and genuinely want to provide first class service in the support that is offered.

Essentials:
The Service Support Engineer will need:
-Knowledge of ITIL
-Extensive knowledge of Windows 2003 Servers
-Excellent knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7
-At least 2 years' experience in a helpdesk environment
-Excellent knowledge of up to date Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of Active Directory
