Senior Java Developer – J2EE, Tapestry/Magnolia
Location: Central London
Salary: £50-70K + Excellent benefits

The Client:

They have won endless awards for their innovative and industry technology that has taken the market by storm. They are currently looking for an elite Java Developer to contribute to their cutting edge projects within their exceptional team.

The Candidate:

You, the Senior Java Developer, will be educated to a high level and have extensive experience as a Java Developer. It's expected that the successful candidate will have experience developing complex applications using Java in a high transactional environment using the following technologies:

* Tapestry or Magnolia
* J2EE ( including JSPs, Tag Libraries, Servlets, Session / Message / Entity EJBs)
* XML / SQL / JDBC / JAAS / JMS / JCE / Struts
* HTML / JavaScript / CSS
* Internet Application Architectures
* Good working knowledge of at least one major J2EE container implementation
* Demonstrable knowledge of the complete J2EE technology stack
* Tools: Any main stream IDEs / Ant / Make / CVS
* Modelling: UML
* Knowledge of blueprint J2EE design patterns
* Knowledge of Windows OSs for development platform and Unix/Linux for production environment.
* Knowledge of full testing lifecycle including unit testing and load testing would be an advantage

It's ESSENTIAL that you have some knowledge/experience with Tapestry

You must be able to handle extremely fast paced environments where projects are moving quickly and priorities can change dramatically on a daily basis. Equally important is the ability to be communicate well to both technical and non technical personnel.
