Online Marketing Channel Manager

Salary: Up to £28,000 + (Benefits and Up to 35% Bonus)

The Role:

As the channel manager, you will be responsible for the commercial and day-to-day management of all activity on EBay and Amazon marketplaces. These duties will include:
 Manage the product range and pricing on EBay and Amazon channels.
 Manage feeds and listing content to ensure products are accurately and correctly listed and updated, and that stock availability is constantly up to date.
 Report on sales and profit margins for these channels.
 Conduct sales analysis and competitor analysis as well as develop strategic and tactical initiatives to grow sales and maximise profitability.
 Work with customer service team to ensure feedback scores and other trading reputation measures meet the highest standards.
 Work with E-commerce and Purchasing teams to use these channels to meet other business objectives, including testing product potential and clearing overstock.
Take ownership of other marketing channels or initiatives as directed by the Trading Director this may include offer, voucher or competition websites and other marketing partnership activity.
Along with the above, you will also take ownership of price comparison marketing channels, in which you will:
 Advise on which price comparison websites the company should be present on and in which categories would those products be best suited to.
 Manage implementation process including feed and data management.
 Reporting and business analysis of channel sales, costs, CPCs/CPAs and all other relevant KPIs.
 Strive to maximise sales to target CPC/CPA

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position would be qualified to a degree level, ideally in business, marketing or technology discipline with at least 2 years experience in marketplace channel marketing or similar, ideally for an online retailer or for an agency working with online retailers. You will also have experience in working on EBay and Amazon or similar platforms.
You will be highly numerate and able to demonstrate sound commercial judgement, make clear business cases for decisions and have experience in marketing analysis including calculating and managing CPA and RoI.
Good knowledge of and strong interest in current developments and trends in online marketing, ideally following developments on EBay and Amazon in particular.
