A great opportunity has become available for an experienced network design engineer to work for my client, a leader in internet technology.

You, the network design engineer will form an integral and crucial "limb" of the business and work in harmony with a dedicated network team to design and implement large scale network solutions for the business, covering all aspects of low/high level design, for which you will also demonstrate for customers when needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL COME FROM AN ISP OR MOBILE BACKGROUND
You must understand how an ADSL/cable network is put together and functions
You must have full experience with Cisco and Juniper equipment – routers, switches, hardware
Competent with network protocols such as BGP, L2 to L7, Radius, DHCP, MPLS etc
Understand the concepts of network security and their related frameworks
Server and blade technology such as HP, Dell, IBM, Huawei
Linux experience would be desirable
Deep Packet Inspection – DPI
Minimum of 4 years experience in this type of role
