The company
An exciting opportunity for a Linux Systems Administrator has arisen with our leading technology company. As the Linux Systems Administrator you would be joining a global team of highly-skilled Linux specialists to provide support for their internet browsing production environment. As the Linux Systems Administrator you will be instrumental in designing, installing, configuring, performance tuning & administering Linux operating systems.

Successful candidate must have experience in the following areas to be considered.

* A strong Linux Systems Administrator background within a large scale server environment
* Extensive experience in installing/configuring/performance tuning and maintaining Linux servers
* Commercial experience with either Redhat, SUSE, Debian or Ubuntu
* You must possess good scripting skills and be proficient with Shell/Bash. (Any experience with Perl, Ruby or Python would be highly desirable)

Desirable experience:
*Configuration management tools: Puppet or Chef
*Varnish
*Squid
*Hadoop
