Java Developer / Programmer

A global technology organisation is searching for an individual who has worked heavily with web based applications to join their software development team based in Central London.

The role:
As the Java Developer you will be heavily involved with the development and maintenance of my client's web products and services. As a part of this programming team the role will be entirely on complex web based development which will further exploit your expertise within Java. The highly skilled candidate should fit in well with the team to deliver complex products.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate should be developing under a methodology, ideally Agile or working within a structured development environment is a must. You would call yourself a true programmer; an extensive exposure to working with recent PHP within a hosting environment will be needed

Essentials:
-At least 3 years Java experience
-J2SE and JEE programming knowledge
-Commercial knowledge of Agile environments
-Have been working in a high volume / high availability online environments
-Use of application frameworks
-Use of application servers
-Unix development platform
Desirables:
-SQL Server
-Javascript
-SOA
-Swing
