Job Details
An IT Support Manager is required by my client who are a leading Banking and Software house. My client creates some of the industry's most cutting edge software systems for leading Banks and Trading companies.
The Role:
This position has responsibility for internal and external infrastructure management and desktop support.
You the IT Support Manager will have a varied role with a number of responsibilities including; managing and maintain all internal infrastructure, day to day management of the desktop support function and its team, project management and delivery of infrastructure projects on time and within budget as well as much more!
The Candidate:
You the IT Support Manager should have experience in the following areas:
-From a similar role involving technical support with management and development of team members
-Exchange 2010 and Active Directory
-Hyper V (or equivalent) working in a Windows 2000/2008 Server environment
-Desktop support of current and past Microsoft packages
-Managing hosting infrastructures.
-Experience of managing and developing virtual environments
