Job Details

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Analyst to join the Financial Systems team of a leading City law firm.

The financial systems team reports to the assistant finance director and works alongside the Business
Transformation Team focusing on the financial aspects of the firm's various projects. The team aims
to initiate new ideas and affect change within the business to increase efficiency and profitability.

The successful candidate will work alongside the business as usual team, focusing purely on financial systems projects. You will also work with the business transformation team on all projects that may affect the financial systems of the firm.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

*To support the Head of Business Intelligence in the implementation of financial projects
*To assist the Global Programme Manager with non-finance projects which have an impact on the firm's financial systems.
*The role will also provide support to the Business Transformation Team and will be involved
in supporting a number of non-financial projects, for example, redesigning the firm's intranet
and workflow projects.

Key technical competencies

*Recent hands-on experience of the Elite system is essential
*Experience of Elite Webview.
*Must have a good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
*SQL for data extraction and manipulation
*Experience of reporting tools.
*A wide knowledge of the various financial systems used within the legal industry.
