My client is currently looking for a SCRUM master/Agile coach to work with them on a contract basis.

You will be focusing on implementing and ensuring various teams are working to strict Agile standards. You will be educated to a high level and have extensive experience as, and be the subject matter expert for, Agile best practices. It's imperative that you can show a guru knowledge of implementing and working to Agile standards.

The role itself will involve a degree of project management to make sure projects are delivered on time and to correct standard, however; it will also involve coaching so the teams can become more self reliant and self managing.

Some of the main experience I am looking for the contractor to demonstrate are:

· Managing on-shore/off-shore hybrid teams.

· Coaching teams, helping them to become self-organising

· Coaching Business analysts as part of the team to write effective user stories

· Tailoring Scrum to meet the needs of the organisation (for example Kanban)

· Experience of Rally & producing metrics from it.

· Must really understand the principles of Agile more than its implementation (Scrum, XP, DSDM etc.)

· Must be an imaginative thinker, able to suggest alternative working practices

Above all, you must be enthusiastic and know when to lead and when to step back. Seasoned Agile professionals only need apply.
