Are you an experienced Manager with proven experience in the field of Security Operations (SIEM) and Threat Intelligence? If the answer is yes then please read on… We are looking for an experienced SOC / NOC Manager with proven experience in Security Operations to join our client's Threat Intelligence Centre. Here you will be responsible for leading the Threat Intelligence Centre, managing a team of highly technical Security Engineers responsible for the provision of SIEM, Secure Hosting & Network Services to premium enterprise customers on a global scale. Specific responsibilities tasks will include but not be limited to; *Collaborating with internal teams / depts. including Security Consulting, Product Management & Development in order to continually identify and deliver functionality that will improve products *Acting as the escalation manager if issues severely affects a customer, driving problems through to resolution, providing bespoke care and managing communications both internally and with the customer. *Building relationships with key or strategic customers in order to become a "trusted advisor" *Scheduling of the team's 24x7 shift rota and on call coverage. *Assess and drive metrics for managed support areas and then analysing data *Developing tools, processes and communication strategies to ensure a timely and responsive approach to incidents *Management of 3rd party vendors A knowledge of some of the following specifics (or similar technologies) is required; and CISSP accreditation would be an advantage but is not essential *LogRhythm, Splunk Cloud, FortiSIEM *Hybrid Analysis *Palo Alto NGFW *Tenable Nessus *VMWare ESXi Please note that this is not a "hands on" technical role so only high level technical knowledge is required and you must be eligible for SC clearance in order to apply The environment is dynamic and fast paced, almost "start-up" like.
