Signal Processing Engineer - Acoustics / Audio - Tech company providing cutting edge solutions into the global Oil & Gas market! - Various experience levels considered - including fresh Masters' or PhD graduates, and those with post academic experience. KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Demonstrable expertise in Digital Signal Processing. - Acoustics knowledge (or something closely related, such as ultra-sound, audio, seismic...) *A strong Physics background could compensate for a lack of acoustics experience* - MATLAB proficiency ROLE SUMMARY: A tech house involved in various cutting edge domains, such as remote sensing, big data & machine learning, is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer for a small R&D team. This will involve contributing towards new product development and working on solutions that are predominantly used in the Oil & Gas market, by some of the world's biggest companies! Whilst fresh Masters' and PhD graduates will be considered, you must show that you have tangible Digital Signal Processing experience, not just theoretical - this could come from your academic experience, maybe a technical project that you worked on for example. Ideally candidates will have some knowledge of acoustics - although a strong Physics background could make up for this, or expertise in similar areas such as seismic, audio or ultra-sound.
