Do you have a background in Project Support or Project Coordination for an innovation centre, R&D Centre or leading technology house? Can you help support the growth of a brand new Innovation Centre? Would you like exposure to supporting UK and EU funded projects? Then this might be for you. As a Project Coordinator you must have: -Experience working within an R&D or Technology environment -Track record as a trusted project co-ordinator -Project Administration experience -Exposure to project finances and governance This Project Coordinator will need to work out of a brand new, state of the art innovation centre in Cambridge. This is a joint venture between two technology and innovation power houses. Bringing together some of the greatest minds from both the Transport and Oil & Gas Technology sectors, our mission is to use the lessons earnt in the O&G space and implement some of the ideas in to the Intelligent Transport arena… and vice versa. Your primary function as the first Project Coordinator in the business, is to execute excellence in relation to project support. Project forecast, finances, budgets, resource management, processes, data, task management, the list goes on. As the centre is new you will support business development activities whilst they attract interest to the new centre, this can come in the form of marketing collateral, preparation of contracts and proposals etc. This is not your average Project Coordinator role as you will be supporting national and international consortium projects, so exposure to any of the following would be advantages, but not essential (Innovate UK, TSB, Horizon2020, FP7). Keeping high profile consortium members in line and up to date is not an easy task.
