If this sounds like you then please read on… We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with proven experience in a role where you've worked closely with Scrum teams and developers in order to help develop & shape the DevOps processes and assist with the ongoing improvement of continuous integration, development workflows and tools to support the rapid development, deployment and release of digital software. Core tasks / responsibilities will include but not be limited to; *Support of the scrum team, assisting with server / capacity planning across environments including; development, QA, staging & production. *Providing support for developers in the deployment of new product features *Creating and managing release packages in accordance with sprint and iteration plans *Working closely with the scrum team to facilitate & support a seamless process between the development and BAU operations teams *Ensuring that all releases / deployments are aligned for system, user acceptance, pre-production & production environments. *Performing load and performance tests *Producing management information reports to monitor the success of deployments successes *Ensuring that adequate environments are always available throughout the development lifecycle *Data management in line with sprints and iterations. *Driving automation to improve on identified manual processes Ideal candidates will possess 2+ years' DevOps experience in a similar role gained in an Agile environment together with at least some of the following additional experience; *Experience of product deployment utilising tools such as TeamCity, Concourse or similar. *Experience of using Source Control products such as Team Foundation Server, GIT, Bitbucket or similar *A good level of proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Powershell, Bash, Python or similar *Experience of AWS and API Management and Integration Boasting a fast paced, collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, our client is offering a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits package and the opportunity to join a hugely successful, multi award winning, global brand working on an exciting and major digital transformation programme!
