Business Development Manager - H2020, Horizon 2020, Innovate UK, FP7, degree, EC, Innovation, Technology Do you want to work for a fast growing & successful SME and innovation organisations? Working with a very diverse and globally respected client list across multiple verticals your work will be responsible for securing major investment funds for leading edge research projects within the engineering/technology world! You will manage an onsite team of Bid/Proposal writer with one of business. Skills/Experience: * Previous experience of securing government funding * FP7, H2020, TSB, Innovate UK * Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, technical, or business discipline preferably with a post graduate qualification or equivalent experience. * Have an keen eye for detail and strong technical writing skills. * Strong track record in proposal/bid writing from the past - ability to review complex proposals; manage a team of proposal writers; Role: As a Business development manager within this innovative organisation, you will have very diverse and globally respected client to network within as well as a capable team to manage . Your work will be responsible for securing further business for leading edge research projects within the engineering/technology world. You will be responsible for reviewing numerous proposals concerned with the R & D funding from Innovate UK/Horizon 2020. You will develop technical solutions to meet the needs of the client as well as developing new contacts with one of their main accounts and other clients. You may be asked to review and amend the work of other writers to ensure the work is accurate and clear and of a high quality. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in business development. You must have an eye for churning out high quality work and have the ability to work on multiple projects. You will need to show excellent networking skills and knowledge of public funding domain.
